1. Introduction
Welcome to Bachata Blues Edinburgh. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Definitions
"Services" refer to dance classes, private lessons, workshops, events and any other offerings by Bachata Blues. "Customer" refers to anyone using our website or purchasing our services.

3. Services Provided
We offer a variety of regular dance classes, courses, private lessons, special workshops and events. Specific requirements for participation may apply.

4. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made online through the website. Payments are accepted via Google/Apple Pay or card. All fees, including registration and deposits, must be paid in advance. You have the option to book and pay at the door before each lesson, depending on availability.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds are not available for our service bookings, but lessons/courses may be transferred in special circumstances.

Video classes -due to the very limited spots and the videographer booking- cannot be refunded or transferred. Please check our Cancellation and Refund policy below for more details.

6. Participation Policy

Participants are expected to arrive on time and behave in a socially-acceptable manner. Instructors reserve the right to ask someone to leave the premises if their behaviour is considered not acceptable.

7. Privacy Policy and Intellectual Property
Our services are recorded. By attending, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed.

Your attendance constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded, and to the use, reproduction, distribution, and publication of such recordings in any media format, now known or hereafter developed, for promotional, educational, archival, or commercial purposes by Bachata Blues.

You understand and agree that:

All recordings and captured materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Bachata Blues.
You waive and release any rights to inspect, approve, or claim compensation for the use of your image, likeness, voice, or name.
You irrevocably waive any claims related to privacy, publicity, or moral rights arising from the use of such recordings.

If you do not wish to be recorded, it is your responsibility to refrain from attending the event.

8.Health and Safety

Participants should not attend classes if injured, and instructors should be made aware in writing for any important health conditions of participants, prior to booking and attending our services.

9. Website Use
Users must not engage in prohibited activities such as hacking or uploading harmful content.

10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.

Service Bookings

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Refunds are only applicable for cancellations initiated by our end. Personal cancellations by participants are not eligible for refunds.

Service Cancellations: Refunds or a transfer to the next available dates will be offered, if a service is cancelled on our end. If a service is cancelled and rescheduling is not feasible, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled service.

In the event that a single class is cancelled (part of a block, a course or a drop-in) by our side, we will offer the option to reschedule the class to the next available date. No refunds will be provided for individual weekly class cancellations, unless rescheduling is not feasible.

2. No shows: No Shows in classes or courses or events are not eligible for refunds, under no circumstances.

3. Sickness or Injury: Provided that the instructors are made aware well in advance about a sickness or injury (minimum 24hrs before the start of a service), they may offer the option to transfer a class or block to a future date or to a different person. This falls completely in the discretion of instructors and they can outright refuse to do so.

4. Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval.
