Styling & Experimental dance course with Joanna 8 September - 1 December, 19:30 - 20:30 *Mirrored Studios* at Summerhall (Lower Church) This course is an invitation to move beyond steps and technique and discover your own unique expression as a dancer. Through functional styling, body movement, and experimentation, you’ll explore how to connect more deeply with yourself, your partner, and the music. ✅You’ll experience a mix of styles designed to expand your movement vocabulary, helping you better understand your essence and approach yourself more holistically as a dancer. Get ready to drill body movement and techniques while experimenting with new ways of moving, flowing, and expressing yourself. ✅The course also brings a focus on Bachata social dancing—using styling to build confidence and improve connection. ✅Through special video classes (dates TBC), you’ll have space to approach yourself not only as a dancer, but also as a performer. Work on stage presence, overcome performance nerves, develop your show performance, and explore professional video opportunities.
